Dining Room Furniture at Louxas

A well-considered dining room comes together in three layers: a table that fits the space and the household, chairs that support long meals comfortably, and a sideboard or buffet that handles storage without cluttering the room. At Louxas, all three categories are designed around a consistent material palette — walnut, white, natural stone, and warm metal accents — so building a coordinated dining room across multiple pieces is straightforward.

As an FSC-certified furniture retailer, all Louxas dining pieces are made from responsibly sourced materials, including solid wood, MDF, stone surfaces, and quality upholstery, selected for durability and everyday use.

What's in the Dining Room Collection

Dining Tables

The anchor of any dining room. Louxas' dining table range covers round tables for 4–6 people and rectangular tables for 6–8, in finishes spanning white sintered stone, travertine-inspired surfaces, fluted walnut, and marble-look tops. Sizes run from 47" round to 84" rectangular, covering compact dining rooms through to larger open-plan spaces.

Dining Chairs

Chairs that balance visual weight with long-meal comfort. The Louxas dining chair range includes upholstered options in bouclé and cotton-linen for a softer, textured look, and leather options for a cleaner, wipe-down surface. Most are sold in sets of two, with wood and metal base options depending on the model.

Sideboard Tables & Buffet Tables

Storage that earns its place in the room. Louxas' sideboard and buffet collection is one of the most extensive in the range, covering everything from compact 59" statement pieces to wide 83" multi-door designs. Finishes include white and gold, antique gray, walnut with travertine-inspired fronts, and sintered stone with fluted detailing. Most feature a combination of doors, drawers, and open shelving for organized, accessible storage.

How to Build Your Dining Room at Louxas

Start with the dining table size

Table size should be determined by two factors: the number of people you regularly seat, and the clearance available around the table for movement and chair pull-out. As a practical guide, allow at least 36" of clearance between the table edge and the nearest wall or furniture on all active sides. Round tables work well in compact or square rooms; rectangular tables suit longer rooms and larger households.

Match chair count and style to the table

Most dining tables seat 4–8 people depending on size. Confirm seat height compatibility — standard dining chairs sit at 17"–19" seat height and pair with standard 30" table heights. Upholstered chairs in bouclé or cotton-linen add softness and visual warmth; leather or faux-leather options are more practical for families or high-traffic dining situations.

Use a sideboard to anchor the storage wall

A sideboard placed along the wall opposite or adjacent to the dining table completes the room both visually and functionally. It provides storage for tableware, linens, and serving pieces, while adding a horizontal surface for styling — a lamp, a vase, or a serving area when entertaining. Choose width relative to the wall: a sideboard that's too narrow for the wall reads as an afterthought.

Keep the material palette cohesive

Louxas' dining room collection is designed around a shared material story. The Merano series (walnut + travertine-inspired surfaces) and the Esmond series (walnut + fluted detailing) each work as complete dining room systems, but pieces can also be mixed across series when the base tone — warm walnut or white stone — is consistent.

Frequently Asked Questions

Start with the room dimensions before looking at specific pieces. Confirm the table footprint first, allowing at least 36" of clearance on all active sides for chair pull-out and movement. Once the table size is set, chair count and sideboard width follow from the remaining wall space.

Yes. The dining room collection is built around a consistent material palette — walnut, white, natural stone, and warm metal accents — so pieces from different series tend to work together when the base tone is consistent. The Merano and Esmond series in particular share enough material overlap to be mixed across tables, chairs, and sideboards.

For wood and wood-veneer surfaces, wipe with a damp cloth and avoid prolonged exposure to moisture or harsh chemical cleaners, which can affect the finish over time. For stone and sintered stone tops, a damp cloth is sufficient for daily cleaning; avoid abrasive scrubbers. For upholstered dining chairs, spot-clean with water and a mild, fabric-appropriate cleaner; always test in an inconspicuous area first. Check the specific care instructions on each product page for model-level guidance.
